Radiant Floor Heating
What is radiant floor heating?
Radiant floor heating is a method of heating your home by applying heat underneath or within the floor. Comparable to warming yourself in the sun, this type of heating warms objects as opposed to raising the temperature of the air.
Radiant Heating technology can be used in many applications – basements, bathrooms, driveways, roofs, wherever you need a bit of warmth for function or comfort.
Tired of shoveling every day during the coldest of Canadian winters? Worried about snow building up on your roof? Then a Snowmelt system solution is perfect for you!
Snowmelt is the system of melting fallen snow. This system uses the same idea as Radiant heat, which is to transfer thermal energy from one body or substance to another of different temperature.
However, in this case there is tubing inserted in the driveway that is heated by flowing warm glycol and signaled by a moisture sensor in order to trigger the system and melt the snow.
V & P Enterprises is vastly experienced in Snowmelt system design and installation – we’re Canadian, after all!
